wow its been quite the while or so it just seems .... summer was a wash of different textures and being moments ranging from the sublime to the abstract skew stew turning this way and that I love how life can be so I love how in my tired state my mind loop dee loops in concentric circles of energy picking what ever feels good for a ride all with out drugs ~laughs ~ yeahhhh no really it must be this song at the moment taking me to that dream zone... Last night on Larry King Tammy Faye and Deepak wow Surreal? Profound? I watched at first because it was on almost like passing a train wreck I couldnt stop staring http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2007/07/19/lkl.tammy.faye.god.cnn then I watched from growing curiosity and stayed until it was over in awe Years back when the surreal house was on I happened to catch the series where she was on ... I liked her what can I say ... for those faint of heart ~laughs ~ I just wanted to say that But I didn't sleep last night so what ever I write may have no fluency or meaning..in-fact I haven't slept well for the last three nights three strange nights I would be willing to bet that last nights fun was due to drinking an iced vanilla coffee from mccrappys ...after 800pm okokok i know one whos kinda sensitive shouldn't do such things BUT Im so sick of living with the shoulds at this moment in time I needed to feel alive again I think its the summer s relentless heat or the fact I havent been writing meditating or listening to good music wow that and my stupid cam broke again because I carelessly shoved it into my purse I know everything will get good again baby steppin till that point and breathin kind of wild but sometimes when I dont sleep I go into a creative awake dreamstate with the right music like this moment Im listening to a podcast off Itunes called Percussion Lab presents the name Boltfish Recordings Showcase Mix from 12/15/05 if you can check it out very sweet indeed kisses and love to any who still check this out wishing you all whatever it is that your wishing for ;) love to all mm m smiles feeling better already A

little story for ya all:) This lil kitty is the sweetest lil critter. His name is Chubchubs Buckley. Chub chubs cuz hes round and cute, and Buckley because he loves to watch Jeff buckley on youtube. Anyway... I was holding him one evening, as he is almost like a rag doll he will let you turn him upside down and over and just love him ... Thinking out loud, I say " We need to get him fixed" ... My 8 yr old looks at me very seriously, and says back .."Why momma, where is he broken?" Heehee oh man out of the mouths of babes ... so cute that pure naive state of being. on a tues morning ... I digress from what I came to really share ~grin~ ...Which is Mother s and Vultures.... who knew? --------------------------------------------------------------------- This mothers day dining with my family, and more family. My brother saunters in. After squeezing into the two by two booth and ordering a coke says, "I guess Im going to die today..." I look at him with this look of shut up you total dork ~ then ask "Ok Darien why would this be?" "Well ," he replies, "I was riding my motorcycle down the street and out of nowhere fly these two huge vultures almost making me wipe out. Dont you think thats a sign of bad luck ? I mean they are birds of prey and death, right? " I think for a moment and think the thought sometimes things arent what they would seem ... Everyone around the table is apparently thinking the same thing and saying just as much "no no no they probably mean just the opposite!" trying to reassure him I offer " what would it matter anyway its not like it really means anything ." To which he counters me " yeah you of all people the one who is always looking for signs ..." I smile knowing he's right then he closes with some line from "The Alchemist's Handbook" about paying attention to signs and we drop it Later that evening inspired to find the meaning of what a vulture represented ..
